Supporting Executive Officers through COVID-19

Executive Officers (EOs) from HBAs across the country were scheduled to meeting in Charlottetown, PEI this June for their annual Professional Development Forum. While the in-person event has been cancelled due to COVID-19, EOs have been meeting online weekly with a regularly scheduled CHBA video call to get the latest national information, and to share local and provincial developments, as well as resources and innovative ideas to help HBAs through the challenge. CHBA is also working on a solution to deliver key training through a virtual PDF, which will focus on what was to be the theme in Charlottetown: membership recruitment, retention and engagement by creating and demonstrating value for members – a topic that is even more relevant now.
